Who we are

Gaspard & Martin met on the squash courts at MIT in 2021. While the result of the first match will forever undisclosed (at Gaspard’s request), this laid the foundation for a strong friendship, many backpacking trips and countless raclette nights.

As time grew, the pair of friends became passionate about embarking on an entrepreneurial journey together, to tackle a truly challenging problem. Gaspard’s experience at McKinsey pointed them in the direction of Pharma procurement, as a lack of understanding of regulatory implications often costs PharmaCos time and resources, and ultimately leads to suboptimal procurement decisions. Martin’s research background at Google brings the new, cutting-edge AI & OCR tools to the table to shake things up, enabling an entirely new level of spend analysis and regulatory decoding.

Today, the Polok team is excited to develop its first product, to make a lasting impact and deliver tangible value in the field of pharma procurement.
